Adolescent & Adult Services
What We Offer
Communication support for teens and adults, built on connection, respect, and your own goals
Speech therapy isn't just for little ones. Teens and adults come to us because they want communication to feel easier, more confident, and more like them. Whether you're a teen navigating school and friendships, or an adult who has been hiding your stutter for years, you deserve support that meets you where you are.
Hannah has advanced training and experience in stuttering with both teens and adults. She works with adults and teen on social communication, executive functioning, and more. You won't find kid-centered materials or a one-size-fits-all program here. Therapy is shaped around your life, your interests, and what matters to you.
How we work
We believe communication is about connection, not perfection. Our approach is neurodiversity-affirming, which means we celebrate the many ways people think, learn, and communicate. We don't aim to "fix" you. We aim to build on your strengths, support self-acceptance, and give you more tools and choices, so you can communicate in ways that feel authentic and effective.
For teens, we also work closely with caregivers when that's helpful, and step back when a teen is ready for more independence. It's a partnership, and your teen's voice leads.
What we support
Stuttering therapy for teens and adults
Support for speaking more comfortably, reducing tension and avoidance, and building confidence in the situations that matter most to you, from phone calls to presentations to everyday conversation.
Social communication support
Help with conversation, friendships, dating, workplace communication, and self-advocacy, including for autistic and neurodivergent teens and adults.
Executive functioning support
Practical strategies for planning, organizing, and following through, especially where language and communication are part of the challenge. This is often helpful for teens managing school, activities, and growing independence.
What to expect
Sessions are one-on-one, private, and respectful of where you are
Goals are set together, and you're always part of the decision-making
Therapy focuses on real-life communication, not just practice in the therapy room
